Who We Are

That One Ensemble will be a professional orchestra that trains, employs, and champions New Yorkers experiencing homelessness.

We provide a platform where musical excellence and personal transformation converge, offering our musicians a path to rebuild their lives through the discipline, community, and artistry of orchestral performance.

Status

That One Ensemble is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for contributions unless otherwise stated.

Our Vision

We want to see entire generations of New Yorkers transition out of homelessness and reclaim their dignity with music. In doing so, we will break the stigma of being unhoused in New York City.

Our orchestra members will be mentored by the best musicians, led by the batons of top conductors, and premier music written by the most sought-after composers in the world.
